Travels to Tokyo Tower, Japan

If you have a chance to visit Tokyo, don't forget a trip to view the Tokyo Tower. It is actually modelled after the Eiffel Tower of Paris but is 13m taller.

Taxi fares are rather steep in Tokyo so I took the train to Onarimon Station on the Mita Subway Line or you can alternatively take the Akabanebashi Station on the Oedo Subway Line. From there, you would have to walk about another 15 minutes up the street till you reach Tokyo Tower.

The Tokyo Tower is the world's tallest self-supporting steel tower at 333 meters. You can go up to the observation deck at the top floor which cost 1420 Yen but I did not.
